Weeks 1 to 2: The Internal Reset
Most users describe the first two weeks as "I don't feel anything different yet." That is not only normal, it is exactly what should be happening. Your serum copper and zinc levels are rising. The melanocyte cells inside your follicles are getting their first real mineral delivery in years. The foundation is being rebuilt under the surface, but no visible change has reached the strand yet because no new hair has had time to grow out.
Weeks 3 to 6: The First Real Change Is Less Shedding
Pigment changes need new growth, but shedding responds faster because it depends on how well your existing follicles are anchored. Around the four week mark, the majority of users notice less hair in the drain, less hair on the pillow, and less breakage. This is the first measurable signal that the formula is working. Most people start seeing this around week 4 to 5, some a little later.
Weeks 6 to 10: The Quiet Foundation Phase
This is the period where you have to trust the process. Roughly half an inch to a full inch of new pigmented hair has now grown out of your follicles. It is visible at the very root if you look closely in good light, but it is not yet long enough for casual observation. New grays are coming in less often. The shower drain is calmer. The hair feels stronger. But the dramatic before/after photo is not here yet, and that is okay.
Months 2 to 3: The Visible Turn
Now we are at the 8 to 12 week mark. You have roughly one to one and a half inches of new growth, which is enough to clearly see darker hair at the temples, the part, and the hairline. This is when partners, barbers, and colorists tend to notice and ask what changed. This is also when most users say it stopped feeling like a leap of faith and started feeling like proof.
Months 4 to 6: Compounded Results
Two to three inches of new pigmented growth is now visible across the scalp. Photos start to show real change. Most users have stopped dyeing entirely by this point. The follicles that were faded but not fully white have largely returned to their original tone. Density and shine continue to improve as the keratin synthesis catches up with the new mineral availability.
